MACHINING CENTER MULTI-FLEX - MULTI-FLEX TWIN HEAD

MACHINING CENTER MULTI-FLEX - Specifications Multi-Flex Twinhead

  • MF TH 30 = Maximum work piece dimensions which can be processed = 30.250 x 1.300 x 650 mm.
  • We construct any length of these models on demand.
  • These machines are delivered with 2 numeric controller which communicate with each other.
  • Rapid X = 60 m/min, rapid Y = 60 m/min, rapid Z = 60 m/min

WORKING AREA AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • All models are standard delivered with safety fences on the left, right and back side of the machine.
The front side is protected with a CE certified led safety curtain to protect the working area.
  • As an option all our models can be equipped as 2 working zones with CE safety scanner. The great advantage of scanners is that there are no barriers in the middle of the machine, which makes loading and unloading a lot easier when switching from 2 zones to 1 large working area.

The advantage of having 2 numeric controllers is that when the lenght LX = 30.250 mm:

  • You can work in 2 zones 14.000 mm each
  • In turn each zone can be spilt up in a left and right zone of 6.000 mm each.

MACHINING CENTER MULTI-FLEX - 5-AXIS Spindle & Tool TURRET

Spindle 18 KW & 25 KW in correct ('real') proportion

MACHINING CENTER MULTI-FLEX - Specifications 5-axis spindle - 18 KW

  • 15 kW (S1), 18 kW (S6) - 24.000 RPM – HSK-F63 tool holders.
  • The spindle is water cooled with an airco system.
  • CNC rotation of the spindle (A-axis) between -115° and +115° - rapid = 50°/sec
  • CNC rotation of the fork (C-axis) between -220° and +220° - rapid = 50°/sec
  • Maximum tool length 200 mm - longer tools possible with manual tool change
  • Maximum tool diameter is 520 mm

MACHINING CENTER MULTI-FLEX - Specifications 5-axis spindle - 25 KW

  • 20 kW (S1), 25 kW (S6) - 22.000 RPM – HSK-A63 tool holders.
  • The spindle is water cooled with an airco system.
  • CNC rotation of the spindle (A-axis) between -110° and +110° - rapid = 300°/sec
  • CNC rotation of the fork (C-axis) between -225° and +225° - rapid = 300°/sec
  • Maximum tool length 220 mm - longer tools possible with manual tool change
  • Maximum tool diameter is 700 mm

MACHINING CENTER MULTI-FLEX - Specifications tool turret

  • Linear tool turret of 36 places.
  • Angular tools are stored in the standard turret.

The most efficient working flow for the production of doors and windows

NESTING

3D-Drawing: Machining Center Multi-Flex Twin Head - Nesting step by step for doors and windows - Standard available with the Alu-Flex

Explanation of the flow proces (3D - drawing above)

  • Select the program of the full bar length manual of with scanning of a barcode.
  • The clamps will be automatic set a the correct position.
  • Load the full bar length on the machines.
  • Start the program, the machine will drill, mill tap the pieces.
  • During this fabrication the NC of the machine can:
    • Print new lables to identify the new parts when we have a lable printer available.
    • Select the next program of the full bar length manual of with scanning of a barcode to check the profile and type of clamps needed. We are able to prepare these matters during proces the current part.
  • When mitre cut is requested the machine will cut first all -45° saw cuts and than all +45° saw cuts, when we only need a straight saw cut, the machine cuts this in on time.
  • The gantry will park at the end of the program.
  • We can now lable the parts and unload the machine.

MACHINING CENTER Multi-FLEX - CLAMPS

MACHINING CENTER MULTI-FLEX - Specifications clamps

  • The number of clamps can be 10, 12 or 16.
  • All our clamps can be split up in a bottom part and a top part

We can move the clamps in de lenght of the machine in different ways:

  • Clamps moved by the X-axis (the colom) of the machine (clamp pro clamp)
  • Clamps can be moved with individual servo motor / clamp (all clamps together moved)

Clamps X=CNC Y=mechanical counter

3D drawing: at the left --> CNC moved bottom plate, at the right CNC moved bottom plate with clamp with manual turing system for the width

We can adjust the clamps in de width of the clamp depending the width of the workpiece:

  • Manual modified depending the width of the work piece (clamp pro clamp)
  • Manual turning system with mechanical counter which adjust the width of the clamp (clamp pro clamp)
  • Automatic turning system which adjust the width of the clamp (clamp pro clamp)

Clamps Y=manual Y=mechanical counter

3D drawing: at the left --> Clamp manual adjusting for the width, at the righ --> Clamp manual turing system for the width

MACHINING CENTER MULTI-FLEX - SPLITTING BAR SYSTEM

MACHINING CENTER MULTI-FLEX - Specifications splitting bar system

  • For automated fabrication of curtain walls and door and window pieces where machining on the ends is required, we need to able to separate the work pieces after splitting up so we are able to cut at the ends.
  • When the machine is not equipped with CNC positioned clamps (each clamp has is own servo motor) in the length of the machine, we can offer an automated system to separate the work pieces after splitting up.

NOTCHING CURTAIN WALL

3D-Drawing: Machining Center Profile-Flex Twin Head - Notching step by step for doors, windows and curtain wall

    • Select the next program of the full bar length manual of with scanning of a barcode to check the profile and type of clamps needed. We are able to prepare these matters during proces the current part.
  • The machine cuts the full bar lenght in pieces.
  • The gantry bar system or the CNC-clamps (each clamp has is own servo motor) will move the parts away from each other.
  • Now we are able to cut at the ends and finish the parts.
